Plain English summary: Use ServiceSync fairly, pay your subscription, and your data is yours. We're not liable for business losses. Australian law applies.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using ServiceSync, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using ServiceSync on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use ServiceSync.

2. Description of service

ServiceSync is a field service management platform for trade businesses. It includes a mobile app and web portal that help manage jobs, timesheets, stock, notes, quotes, and invoices.

ServiceSync integrates with third-party platforms including Tradify, Stripe, and others. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.

3. Accounts and registration

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

You must notify us immediately at hello@getservicesync.com.au if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Each account belongs to one company. You may invite team members (office staff and tradies) under your company account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Billing and subscriptions

Free trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial.

Subscription pricing

After the trial, ServiceSync is billed at $10 AUD per seat per month. A seat is one active user in your company account.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a monthly basis.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Billing screen in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

Price changes

We will give at least 30 days notice before changing subscription prices.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ServiceSync to:

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms without notice.

6. Your data

You own the data you create in ServiceSync — your job records, notes, invoices, and other business information belong to you.

You grant ServiceSync a limited licence to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring your use of ServiceSync complies with any applicable data protection obligations you have to your own customers and employees.

7. AI features

ServiceSync includes AI-powered features including voice transcription, invoice scanning, and quote generation. These features are powered by Anthropic and OpenAI.

Important: AI-generated content including quotes, transcriptions, and notes should always be reviewed before use. ServiceSync is not liable for errors in AI-generated output.

By using AI features, you consent to relevant data (such as audio recordings and invoice images) being processed by our AI providers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep ServiceSync available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability, and will provide advance notice where possible.

We are not liable for any losses arising from downtime, data loss, or service interruptions.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, ServiceSync's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses including lost revenue, lost profits, or loss of business opportunity.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@getservicesync.com.au.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, fail to pay your subscription, or if we reasonably believe your use of the service is causing harm.

Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion, giving you time to export anything you need.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
